Everyone,
otsukaresama desu.

October 17th
Today, I turned 23.

Man, one year has gone by in a blink of an eye.
Last year, I was filming Clone Baby around this time.
It’s been a year since then.
Time really flew by.

However,
to me, that time was filled with passion and rich experiences.
I kept continually experiencing new things, meeting new people,
wavering, worrying, learning.
Those experiences helped create a foundation behind who I am today.

I have an overflowing feeling of gratitude.
For my parents who have supported me since birth.
For the fans and people who have supported me from my debut.
Thank you so very much!

Let’s make 23 a better run than 22.
I don’t want it to be just a “next one,” but a “next year.”

I was congratulated on the set of Kaito Royale.
I even received a present from Chan Sung.

Thank you very much.
Let’s run full force till we’re done shooting!

Also, this is totally unrelated to work, a personal topic, but my older sister just gave birth to a baby boy. He was born on October 10th.
I’m glad it went safely, but at the same time, this means I just became an uncle.

I’ve become an uncle at 23, huh?
When the child starts to speak, I wonder what he’ll call me.
Hmm-
Toori ojisan
Toori ojichan
Too-chan
…
Well, whatever.

In any case, I think I’ll give him the Shinkenger DVD boxset, so he’ll know that his uncle is super cool from a very young age.

Update

I just wanted to say thank you to dim-nys, watanabeshuuya, and shunknee for answering my question a while back :D

I will keep this tumblr, but once I start translating on a regular basis again, I’ll only post the links and not the actual posts. I may cross-post to LJ, but I haven’t decided on that yet.

All up!*

Well, I’m sure you already know.
I’m the guy with the mask** on the right.

We surprised them!
This drama, Hanazakari no Kimitachi E, was brought to you with love and support from the staff and cast members.
I’m so grateful to the many staff-san who have showered affection on us; I could say words of gratitude to you over and over again.

These 4 months, running through this summer earnestly with one goal, making this production with everyone -I’m definitely never going to forget this.

Every day was like going to school, I never thought I’d have so much fun shooting.

I made a lot of new friends.

And then there’s Nanba Minami.
I’ve received a lot of power from him, and words that still echo in my heart.

Thank you, I won’t forget this.

Well, today is this drama’s last episode!
It’s sad! To have to end…

Update 9/4/11

I’ve been feeling pretty bogged down by various things lately, so I’m sorry I haven’t been translating as much.
I’ve also been contemplating whether I want to continue to cross-post from its original site. While it’s great that I can share these entries with you so easily, I’m beginning to feel that tumblr is not the platform I want to use to archive these translations. I considered using Livejournal at one point, but that might be for future subbing projects.

That said, I’d really love your opinions:
If you had to decide, would you:
1. Keep this tumblr, but post mainly at blogger?
2. Delete this tumblr?
3. Just use blogger and don’t cross-post anywhere?
4. Cross-post only to LJ?
5. Use LJ and delete the blogger site instead?
6. It doesn’t really matter -do whatever you want?

Hello~ Hello~

Today, Nakamura Aoi-kun (who plays Sano Izumi) and myself were asked to help with Kitakata Ramen at Odaiba Bohken King.

We’re the high-jump pair.
After that, we immersed ourselves in the world of One Piece in the Sunny-gou. And, we took a picture of us eating the Oka Lemon Ice-cream.
It was super delicious!!
To be honest, I underestimated it at first…now I take it back.
I felt like I had a satisfying summer vacation in my brief time here!!

For some reason, the weather has been really cool since this morning.
I’ve always waking up with sweat, but I wasn’t at all today, lol.

I’m the type of person who prefers eating salad without dressing. :Dv
Since vegetables are originally supposed to be eaten raw, I can say that it’s delicious.
That’s why putting dressing or mayonnaise on it would not be paying attention to the proper way of things!!

Plus, heated vegetables are placed in hot, hot, boiling water, and then sauce is added to it, and then meat is made into the main dish, as if the vegetables are the last thing, and by that time, it won’t even have been touched！！！！！！
Apologize to the vegetables!! ヽ(*｀Д´)ノ

Haha ^^;;;;
I yelled too much, now I’m hungry.
I think I’ll have some vegetables with ponzu sauce. ε=ヾ(*~▽~)ノ

Hwaaa！！！！

Anyways, today I went to see my company-mate’s play, Pinocchio :Dv
The story is from Disney’s famous Pinocchio, but with added comedy and music.
Everyone dances so well~

And after the play was over, in the dressing room,
Sakurada Dori-kun and Totani Kimito-kun.

Somehow！！！！
NEW Den-O and Decade and OOO!!!!!!

Well, Dori-kun came after the “Let’s Go~” incident.

Tomorrow is OOO’s 47th episode, “The Red Crack, Satisfaction, and Eiji’s Vessel.”
While Ankh and Eiji were in the middle of a fight, Maki threw Eiji a purple core medal and he became a purple Greeed.
Ankh assumed his complete form in order to fighting the crazy Eiji Greeed.
Even though they are fighting, Eiji’s words are running across his mind, so Ankh can’t really fight him. Since Ankh is becoming numb, it seems like Maki might have to put an end to it all…

Well, there’s finally only 2 episodes left!!
Eiji has transformed into a Greeed!
Ankh, who gained life as a Greeed!
It seems like the world is moving closer to the end, Maki!

I cried watching the preview for the last episode.
Tomorrow, I’m going to be in my room watching it real time.
Last 2 episodes!!

Nice Lyric

With Dorm 2’s kouhais on the bus home.

We’re done for today.
And that’s also one step closer to the end of summer…

Come to think of it, have I done anything that’s summer-like?
Also, it poured today!
Afterward that, it was really refreshing! Didn’t even need air conditioning. That’s energy conseving weather.

Oh, that’s right. Starting September 24th, I will be starring in a movie called Kimi e. and you can now watch the trailer on Youtube.
Please check it out!

The theme song has nice lyrics. Lovely, just lovely.
It helps bring out the feelings of the main character.
I don’t know the details of when it goes on sale, but please check out Ayana-san’s song, “kimi e.” as she so kindly wrote the song for the movie.

Hattori from the West

Everyone, otsukaresama desu.

In these past few days, I have had to deal with a difficult puzzle, with this hat on.

Yep.
It’s that detective from Naniwa High School.
I’ve been given the role of Hattori Heiji.

The leading role is played by Junpei-kun, who I also co-starred with in Shinzanmono: Kirin no Tsubasa, which makes this the second time co-starring.
To be able to work together again so quickly makes me happy.

There’s only a little bit left of shooting, but I’ll work my hardest so that there won’t be any regrets.
Also, I won’t lose to Kudo.

it also rings true in my heart. To those of us in our 20’s, we shouldn’t take these days for granted.

Twins!

Here is Hitachiin Hikaru and Hitachiin Kaoru a.k.a Takagi Manpei-kun and Shinpei-kun!

To be honest, I have to say that when we first met, I couldn’t tell them apart,
but now I can do it all the time, from their faces to their personalities.
They’re actually quite different, it’s interesting.

But, when they’re asleep,
they’re 100% synchronized!
As expected of twins.

First lead role!

Good morning!
I have an announcement for everyone.
Starting in October, TV Tokyo’s Drama 24 (midnight) time slot
will be airing This is the Infamous Elpalacio,
which will be my first ever leading role.

I’m going to tackle this with all of my might.
I’ll explain the details/contents as I get them at a later time.

However, this is all I can say.

Bloody Monday 2’s 4th episode has aired. i received a lot of texts from friends asking me, “Did she really die~?” lol
We ended filming safely, and below is a picture after our final take!
On the last day, even though it was already late at night, Haru-chan and Take-chan came running over… ;_;
Despite their hectic schedules, I’m grateful they came!

I’m so happy that I’ve been given this role, Orihara Maya, in Bloody Monday~!
